Conte respects Tevez decision to stay at Boca

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said that he respected Carlos Tevez decision to remain at Boca Juniors. He said this after Carlos Tevez revealed that the new Chelsea manager wants to sign him for Chelsea. Conte admitted that Chelsea had made a bid for the player, but the striker has said that he intends to stay with Boca Juniors and is not interested in playing in Europe.

Tevez stated that his former manager called him personally to convince him to come to England but that at the moment he wants to stay in Argentina and play for Boca Juniors.

There was also news that Napoli were also interested in the former Juventus striker. However, the Napoli board said that Carlos Tevez was demanding too much money and that they were not prepared to meet his requirements.

Antonio Conte stated that he has good experience working with Carlos Tevez when he was managing Juventus. The manager said that Tevez was an incredible player for him when he played with Juventus and that he enjoyed managing him. He stated that Carlos Tevez is not only a talented player but also a great person off the pitch.

He said that he wanted him to come to Chelsea, but the latter has made it clear that he want to play in Argentina. Antonio Conte stated that he respected his decision and that he wish him all the best for the remaining part of his career.

Antonio Conte said that Chelsea has not yet finished their transfer activities and that they are still looking for a quality striker to boost their attacking options next season. Tevez admits European return is a possibility

Carlos Tevez completed his move to Boca Juniors on June of 2015 as he made a return to his childhood club where he used to perform with during the earlier stages of his career.

The veteran striker is a consistent starter in Boca Juniors which is fairly impressive considering that he is the 2nd oldest player of the entire squad but Tevez has still managed to secure a consistent spot in the starting lineup of the manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Tevez not included for World Cup qualifiers

The 2018 World Cup qualifiers are looming on the horizon and every nation is working hard to win their respective matches in order to have any hope of advancing to the next World Cup and Argentina’s schedule sees them facing off with Chile and Bolivia on March 24 and March 29 respectively.

Unfortunately for Carlos Tevez, he will not be participating in any of these qualifying matches as the 32 year old attacker just doesn’t have the same kind of impact and influence that he used to have some time ago.

Tevez is well aware of the amount of talented players that are performing in the Argentine national football team with performers such as: Angel di Maria, Erik Lamela, Sergio Aguero, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gonzalo Higuain and Lionel Messi just to name a few of the more renowned players.

With all of these figures in the Argentine squad, it’s extremely difficult for Carlos Tevez to find a consistent spot in the national football team of his country and considering that he is 32 years old, that’s a pretty elevated age for almost any player in the world of football. It’s been rumoured taht instead of even watching the matches, Tevez is off on a tour of Australia, promoting real money Australian pokies at Pokies Palace to football lovers across the world.

Carlos Tevez is currently performing for Boca Juniors but it’s believed that the Argentine attacker is not going through the best of times with his childhood club as he is demanding to his manager that he gets more free time or holidays as the veteran player is starting to feel burnt out after playing so much consistent matches non-stop.

Adrian Ruocco is the agent of Tevez and he revealed details concerning his client as Ruocco stated that there is a possibility of Tevez leaving Boca Juniors sooner than what his contract has stipulated as he said: “Carlos has two or three years remaining in his career and he could go to China or Saudi. He has to enjoy playing once more; otherwise he may want to leave in June.”

Allegri and Marchisio extend their stay

Massimiliano Allegri signed a new one year contract extension which will be keeping him in Juventus at least until 2017. The Italian manager went through an incredibly successful season as the coach of Juventus during his first season in charge as he pushed Juventus to their 4th successive Serie A title and the Coppa Italia silverware as well.

Juventus also somehow managed to squeeze into the finals of the 2014-15 season of the Champions League and even though they eventually lost against Barcelona, it still was an impressive sight to see an Italian club getting so far in the European competition taking into consideration the downfall that the Italian sides have been experiencing in these past few years.
