Carlos Tevez’s agent has apparently told Juventus president Andrea Agnelli

Carlos Tevez’s agent has apparently told Juventus president Andrea Agnelli that his client wants to leave the club and return to his homeland. Tevez has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors in the last six months. Since he has only 12 months left on his contract, the striker sees this is an ideal opportunity to seal a move back to Boca Juniors where it all began for him as a teenager. Tevez has represented the clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City in a strong career, but he has never stayed at a club for more than a couple of years.

The lack of stability, though, has not affected his game one bit. Last season, the goals scored by the Argentine was a major factor in Juventus winning the league title once again. They also reached the final of the Champions League. Keen to end the disappointing run in the European competition, Juventus managed to be the likes of Real Madrid along the way but they were beaten narrowly in the final by Barcelona. In his career, Tevez has won the Champions League once with Manchester United. He has apparently decided to bring his time in Italian football to an end after requesting the president for a six months ago.

“Today, Tevez is still a Juventus player. Our relationship with Carlos has always been very transparent. We spoke to Carlos in January, and Carlos expressed his desire, if the conditions were right, to return to Argentina. His personal situation meant he wanted to be able to finish his career in Argentina, with Boca. As you know, their President [Daniel] Angelici came to visit me in February or March, and has always been very clear,” said Andrea Agnelli. Juventus are also keen on retaining midfielder Paul Pogba due to the uncertainty surrounding the French international.
