Tevez sent off in match

Former Manchester United striker and current Boca Juniors player Carlos Tevez has been sent off in a game after insulting a referee’s sister.


The player was booked after a rash challenge on an opposition player and insulted the referee in retaliation.

The referee had no other option than to give the striker a red card and he was sent off.

The Boca Juniors tried to pressurize the referee to change his decision but there was nothing to be done, and Carlos Tevez was sent off the pitch.

The match started well for Boca Juniors where they took the lead in the 33rd minute thanks to a goal from Carlos Tevez. Unfortunately, the former Manchester United player will be sent off 3 minutes later after his challenge on the opposition player.

Martino wants Funes Mori

The national team coach of the Argentine squad wants Everton star, Ramiro Funes Mori to play for La Albiceleste in the upcoming tournaments. Coach Gerardo Martino says he wants the player for play during the Summer Olympics starting on August 3, ten days before the official kick-off of the English Premier League.

Carlos Tevez rejects a £19.5 million move to the Chinese Super League

Carlos Tevez is a consistent starter for the Argentine club Boca Juniors and he has been performing with them since June of 2015 after having completed his transfer from Juventus over to Boca Juniors for a transfer fee of €6.5 million and so far things have been going fairly well for the veteran attacker who continues scoring goals and playing a big role at a competitive despite having reached a fairly elevated age.

Boca Juniors is the childhood club of Carlos Tevez as it was with them where Tevez managed to make his debut appearance at a competitive stage and he was able to do this at the age of 16.

When Tevez was 16, he made his debut for Boca Juniors when they faced off with Talleres de Cordoba in the Torneo Apertura and from there on out Tevez went on to make a total of 75 appearances while scoring 26 goals during his 3 year long stay with Boca Juniors.

During this time with the Argentine club, Tevez attracted the attention of Corinthians who signed him up for around $16 million and this is when the international playing career of Carlos Tevez kicked off as he went on to join a number of top clubs including: Manchester United, Manchester City and and his last European club was Juventus.

Even though the head coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri offered Tevez the chance to continue performing with the Italian club beyond what his contract had initially stipulated, Tevez opted to make a return to Boca Juniors and now more recently, Tevez was offered the chance to earn £19.5m each year as the Argentine player just wants to play with his hometown club and it’s very likely that he will be retiring with them as well.

Carlos Tevez rubbishes Rumors about Fallout on Messi

Argentine striker Carlos Tevez has rejected suggestions that he has had a fallout with superstar Lionel Messi. This has often been speculated as the sole reason for Tevez not being in the Argentina squad despite his good form over the last couple of years.

The former Manchester City striker is the top scorer in the Italian Serie A and his form has propelled Juventus to the top of the table. Yet, he does not seem anywhere close to featuring for the Argentine national team. Messi continues to be the star of the show when it comes to Argentina.

Tevez has had an up-and-down time in football over the last five years. He came very close to sealing a permanent move to Manchester United only to land in the hands of rivals Manchester City. His City career blossomed for a few years before coming to an abrupt halt after a fallout with manager Roberto Mancini. Carlos Tevez – The best Argentinian Player

Ever since Carlos Tevez joined Juventus on June of 2013, he has turned into one of the leaders in the pitch as players are constantly searching around for him as the Argentine player is a regular goal-scorer.

Tevez is currently the top goal-scorer of the Italian League, Serie A after managing to score a total of 11 goals in 16 appearances.

Before Tevez made a move to Italy, his time was spent performing in England as he made his way through West Ham United, Manchester United and Manchester City. One of his former clubs is now being rumored to be interested in re-signing him.

Tevez Set to Return for Argentina

It’s been three years since Carlos Tevez last suited up in an Argentina kit, but the 30-year-old is finally set to return to international duty for the World Cup runners-up.

The last time Tevez played for his nation, he came off the bench in a Copa America semifinal on Argentine soil and missed the deciding penalty kick. After that, international manager Alejandro Sabella refused to select the People’s Player even once, instead preferring Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, and Gonzalo Higuain up front for three years.
