TEVEZ IS APPARENTLY NOT HIGHEST PAID FOOTBALLER

Argentine Carlos Tevez has turned out not to be the highest paid footballer in the world as widely reported.

No doubt he earns the mouth and eye watering salary but his international teammate Ezekiel Lavezzi trumps him in pay-out.

The striker started from his home country before he moved to England. After his sojourn at West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City, he moved to the Serie A where he continued his illustrious career with Juventus.

He returned home in 2015 but after two and a half seasons at home, he could no longer say no to the huge salary he Chinese were flaunting. He agreed to the move to the Far East and the move was celebrated all over the world as he was set to earn the highest salary offered to a footballer on the planet.

Tevez signed with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua and has been playing. However, the latest report from Football Leaks shows that Lavezzi receives way more than the Argentine.

While Tevez is earning a whopping £634,615 per week, Lavezzi receives £798,000 per week playing for Hebei China Fortune. Read more TEVEZ IS APPARENTLY NOT HIGHEST PAID FOOTBALLER

Tevez defends Messi’s decision

Carlos Tevez has defended Lionel Mess’s decision to retire from International football.

The Boca Juniors player has stated that he understands the way Messi feels and that fans around the world should respect him. Indeed Barcelona’s forward Lionel Messi has announced that he will not be playing for Argentina again following their defeat in the final against Chile. This was the second final lost in a row by Messi with Argentina, and he said that he had had enough.

However, there are many pundits that believe that Messi’s decision has nothing to do with Argentina defeat. They believe that the problem is deeper than what many people believe. For Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi has problems with the Argentina Football Association, and this is the main reason why he has decided to stop playing for the national team.

Carlos Tevez stated that the Argentina Football Federation is currently in a mess and does not do anything in order to help the players. He believes that Lionel Messi has had enough of this situation, and this is why he has taken this decision. For Tevez, all the Argentina players are motivated to play for their team and to represent the country, but the federation is not doing anything to help them.

Boca Juniors helped Carlos Tevez to improve his goalscoring form

Boca Juniors moved to the top of their group in the Copa Libertadores after a 6-2 win over Deportivo Cali.

This appeared to be the perfect match for Carlos Tevez to improve his goalscoring form. After all, the opposition were reduced to 10 men during the 90 minutes. Tevez took full advantage of the mediocre form of the opponents to score a brace. Finishing top of the group gives a big advantage way into the knockout stages. Only the top two positions will be to qualify for the next round. Racing Club have come as the group’s second placed outfit.

After starting the Copa Libertadores campaign in disappointing fashion, Boca Juniors could not have wished for a better finish. They started the campaign with two consecutive draws, which meant that Bolívar were top of the table after the opening two games. Hence, there was a real pressure upon Boca Juniors to get a win from the game. Victory would move them closer towards the prospect of reaching the next round without any hiccups. However, the first half of the game did not suggest any good result for the home team, who went into the break at 2-2. Read more Boca Juniors helped Carlos Tevez to improve his goalscoring form

Carlos Tevez is the biggest absentee from Argentina’s latest squad for the World Cup qualifying matches.

Tevez recently returned to Argentine football to play for his hometown club Boca Juniors. This was also expected to help him feature more regularly for the national team. This has not been the case in recent years due to the lack of places especially in the forward position. The likes of Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, and Angel di Maria will provide valuable alternatives to Tevez.

It is only when one of these players are unavailablethat it leads to a spot in the team for Tevez. Even though the headlines have been around the absence of Tevez, other important players who have been not named in the latest squad include Ezequiel Garay and Fernando Gago. These two players that part of the team that came up as runners-up in the recent Copa America. Their absence may suggest that Martino is not entirely happy with the squad and he would like to change a few things in order to make the team from being perennial runners-up into winners. Carlos Tevez rejects a £19.5 million move to the Chinese Super League

Carlos Tevez is a consistent starter for the Argentine club Boca Juniors and he has been performing with them since June of 2015 after having completed his transfer from Juventus over to Boca Juniors for a transfer fee of €6.5 million and so far things have been going fairly well for the veteran attacker who continues scoring goals and playing a big role at a competitive despite having reached a fairly elevated age.

Boca Juniors is the childhood club of Carlos Tevez as it was with them where Tevez managed to make his debut appearance at a competitive stage and he was able to do this at the age of 16.

When Tevez was 16, he made his debut for Boca Juniors when they faced off with Talleres de Cordoba in the Torneo Apertura and from there on out Tevez went on to make a total of 75 appearances while scoring 26 goals during his 3 year long stay with Boca Juniors.

During this time with the Argentine club, Tevez attracted the attention of Corinthians who signed him up for around $16 million and this is when the international playing career of Carlos Tevez kicked off as he went on to join a number of top clubs including: Manchester United, Manchester City and and his last European club was Juventus.

Even though the head coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri offered Tevez the chance to continue performing with the Italian club beyond what his contract had initially stipulated, Tevez opted to make a return to Boca Juniors and now more recently, Tevez was offered the chance to earn £19.5m each year as the Argentine player just wants to play with his hometown club and it’s very likely that he will be retiring with them as well.

Paulo Dybala has been earmarked as the replacement for Carlos Tevez at Juventus

Paulo Dybala has been earmarked as the replacement for Carlos Tevez at Juventus, but his former Palermo teammate Franco Vazquez reckons that the 22-year-old may not be the like-for-like swap.

Juventus signed the former Parma striker for a huge sum of € 32 million along with € 8 million more in additional bonuses. Vazquez knows a thing or two about Juventus’ big-money signing after having played with him at Parma for the last couple of years.Vazquez and Dybala combined to great effect by scoring 23 goals in the league last season.

The 22-year-old has been riding on a wave of form in recent weeks. It has seen him score 7 goals in just 10 starts for his new club. As a result, talk has already begun aboutDybala being the next Tevez. Compared with the successful 2014-15 campaign,Vazquez has had a modest start to the 2015-16 season. He has managed only four assists and one goal in 14 appearances. This is pale in comparison with last season when his partnership withDybala saw him scored 10 goals and 10 assists in just 37 games. The midfielder is now looking forward to his reunion withDybala. Without the goals fromDybala andVazquez, Parma have been struggling closer to the relegation zone. Carlos Tevez’s agent has apparently told Juventus president Andrea Agnelli

Carlos Tevez’s agent has apparently told Juventus president Andrea Agnelli that his client wants to leave the club and return to his homeland. Tevez has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors in the last six months. Since he has only 12 months left on his contract, the striker sees this is an ideal opportunity to seal a move back to Boca Juniors where it all began for him as a teenager. Tevez has represented the clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City in a strong career, but he has never stayed at a club for more than a couple of years.

The lack of stability, though, has not affected his game one bit. Last season, the goals scored by the Argentine was a major factor in Juventus winning the league title once again. They also reached the final of the Champions League. Keen to end the disappointing run in the European competition, Juventus managed to be the likes of Real Madrid along the way but they were beaten narrowly in the final by Barcelona. In his career, Tevez has won the Champions League once with Manchester United. He has apparently decided to bring his time in Italian football to an end after requesting the president for a six months ago. Carlos Tevez to open his account for the Argentine club

After making a return to Boca Juniors in the summer, it did not take long for Carlos Tevez to open his account for the Argentine club.

His goal in the 3-0 win over Banfield ensured that the home fans had a night to remember after being in great voice throughout the game. The goal had little impact on the outcome of the game, but it brought a loud cheer from the home supporters who had earlier seen Perez and Calleri give them the advantage. Tevez’ return to Boca Juniors has been compared with the instances in which Alan Shearer returned to Newcastle United except that the 31-year-old did not cost closer to the mammoth transfer fee for Shearer in the mid-1990s.

Tevez’ exit from European football has been on the cards for quite a while. Even when he was at Manchester City, the striker was linked with a return to Argentine football. The time has now come for Tevez to dominate his homeland once again. After having helped his team achieve success in the Copa America, Tevez will be hoping to do the same in the upcoming league match against Unión Santa Fe. A party atmosphere is expected that this game where Tevez will be one of the favourites to open the scoring. Read more Carlos Tevez to open his account for the Argentine club

Carlos Tevez spent over 6 years of his career performing in the Premier League

Carlos Tevez spent over 6 years of his career performing in the Premier League as the Argentine player made his way through West Ham United, Manchester United and lastly Manchester City. All of these were the English sides that Tevez joined before eventually joining the Italian side Juventus.

The Argentine striker has enough experience performing in different leagues as he has been part of some of the major European leagues and according to Carlos Tevez, he believes that scoring in the Premier League is much more easier than in Italy.

Carlos Tevez said: “It’s much easier to score in the Premier League, where the ball doesn’t stop moving, the action is everywhere and the midfield is non-existent. Here you see a striker up against five defenders; it’s much more difficult than in England. The Italian league is of a high standard.”

The 31 year old forward continued on by giving praise to his teammates as he told reporters: “My team-mates and Allegri give me so much confidence. I’m happy with how the coach asks me to play. We made some kind of deal: when I get the ball I can do whatever I want but I have to perform very specific tasks in defence.I like being in contact with the ball. If you don’t give it to me, I’ll get it.” Read more Carlos Tevez spent over 6 years of his career performing in the Premier League
