CARLOS TEVEZ’S NEW HOME UP IN FLAMES

Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez moved to the Asia to play in the Chinese Super League where he receives a record mouth-watering salary.

The Shanghai Shenhua stadium – the new home to the Argentine star – where he plays has gone up in flames.

The 33-000 seater stadium was recorded burning with a huge inferno and emitting black smoke. Early reports claimed no life was loss and that the fire started at 8 am local time. The fire burnt through one end of Hongkou Stadium, causing a traffic mess. The fire fighting services managed the situation when they arrived.

The stadium, which was opened in March 1999, is the nation’s first professional football stadium. The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire but the police say they suspect that the fire started in the indoor rock climbing facilities. Read more CARLOS TEVEZ’S NEW HOME UP IN FLAMES

Carlos Tevez Dismisses Suggestions of £600,000 a Week Wages

Carlos Tevez has dismissed claims that he is the world’s best paid player.

The Argentine striker became the latest high profile him to join the Chinese Super League. He decided to leave Boca Juniors, a club which he adores, for Shanghai Shenhua. Even though the transfer fee was only reported to be around £ 10 million, it is rumoured that the player has become the highest-paid player in the world at wages of around £ 30 million per year. Chinese clubs have been on an extraordinary spending spree in January and they have recently brought in Oscar for £ 60 million.

For a brief period, the former Chelsea midfielder was one of the highest earning players at around £ 20 million per season. It did not take long for Tevez to overtake the 25-year-old on this front. Without revealing the actual numbers, Tevez claimed that the figures being spoken on the Internet are certainly not true. Read more Carlos Tevez Dismisses Suggestions of £600,000 a Week Wages

Tevez defends Messi’s decision

Carlos Tevez has defended Lionel Mess’s decision to retire from International football.

The Boca Juniors player has stated that he understands the way Messi feels and that fans around the world should respect him. Indeed Barcelona’s forward Lionel Messi has announced that he will not be playing for Argentina again following their defeat in the final against Chile. This was the second final lost in a row by Messi with Argentina, and he said that he had had enough.

However, there are many pundits that believe that Messi’s decision has nothing to do with Argentina defeat. They believe that the problem is deeper than what many people believe. For Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi has problems with the Argentina Football Association, and this is the main reason why he has decided to stop playing for the national team.

Carlos Tevez stated that the Argentina Football Federation is currently in a mess and does not do anything in order to help the players. He believes that Lionel Messi has had enough of this situation, and this is why he has taken this decision. For Tevez, all the Argentina players are motivated to play for their team and to represent the country, but the federation is not doing anything to help them.

CHELSEA TO UNDERGO CHANGES AS CONTE RESUMES

After the exit of Italy from the Euro 2016, the new coach of Chelsea said he would take just one break before resuming at the club to start a new phase.

As the brilliant Italian tactician takes over, a lot of changes are expected at the club going into the new season. The coach took a team of decent players far at the Euro 2016 following amazing tactical discipline instilled in the team. With a better crop of players at Stamford Bridge, there is the hope that the coach would do more to see the club return back to winning ways after a disappointing season.

As he resumes, there are a lot of possible changes that could happen in the new season. One of which is a change in formation. The coach who could employ the 3-5-2 formation would need a lot of time or changes to be successful, and at Chelsea time isn’t a luxury. The issue of full backs at Stamford Bridge has been a long time issue. Different coaches have tried various players with only few have relative success. If ‘wing backs’ are employed, it would mean changes for the current crop of players. The likes of Kenedy and Baba Rahman would likely get more playing time due to their ability to contribute to the attack as well as defend. Kenedy had a few great moments in the last season as he showed he could provide the needed thrust for the attack as well as defend when required. He might struggle a bit solely as a left back but he would be a good fit as a wing back. Read more CHELSEA TO UNDERGO CHANGES AS CONTE RESUMES

Carlos Tevez has been a forgotten man

Carlos Tevez has been a forgotten man on the international scene for quite a while now.

However, he has just been named in the preliminary squad to take on Panama, Bolivia, and defending champion Chile      in the Copa America Centenario, which starts on June 3. The tournament takes place in the United States. After having just won the title, Chile will be going into the tournament in buoyant mood. However, the likes of Argentina will be the favourites due to the significantly better quality of players, which has just been enhanced by Tevez’ inclusion.

The 32-year-old recently returned with the South American football and has been a star for Boca Juniors so far. Despite the club struggling in the mid-table of the Argentine league, Tevez has done his reputation no harm by scoring four goals in 11 games. Even though this may seem low compared with the goals to game ratio of stars like Lionel Messi, Tevez has never been about only scoring goals. He has always offered much more to the team with his tireless work rate throughout the 90 minutes. Chile were able to get success in the previous Copa America largely because of the home advantage. Many felt that a player like Tevez would have negated the advantage to some extent. Read more Carlos Tevez has been a forgotten man

Allegri and Marchisio extend their stay

Massimiliano Allegri signed a new one year contract extension which will be keeping him in Juventus at least until 2017. The Italian manager went through an incredibly successful season as the coach of Juventus during his first season in charge as he pushed Juventus to their 4th successive Serie A title and the Coppa Italia silverware as well.

Juventus also somehow managed to squeeze into the finals of the 2014-15 season of the Champions League and even though they eventually lost against Barcelona, it still was an impressive sight to see an Italian club getting so far in the European competition taking into consideration the downfall that the Italian sides have been experiencing in these past few years. Carlos Tevez rubbishes Rumors about Fallout on Messi

Argentine striker Carlos Tevez has rejected suggestions that he has had a fallout with superstar Lionel Messi. This has often been speculated as the sole reason for Tevez not being in the Argentina squad despite his good form over the last couple of years.

The former Manchester City striker is the top scorer in the Italian Serie A and his form has propelled Juventus to the top of the table. Yet, he does not seem anywhere close to featuring for the Argentine national team. Messi continues to be the star of the show when it comes to Argentina.

Tevez has had an up-and-down time in football over the last five years. He came very close to sealing a permanent move to Manchester United only to land in the hands of rivals Manchester City. His City career blossomed for a few years before coming to an abrupt halt after a fallout with manager Roberto Mancini. Since his £ 10 million move to Juventus, he has constantly been linked with a return to his homeland to finish his career. Read more Carlos Tevez rubbishes Rumors about Fallout on Messi
