Carlos Tevez not rejoining Boca Juniors anytime soon

Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has confirmed that Carlos Tevez will not be returning to his hometown club anytime soon.

The Shanghai Shenhua forward is currently back in Argentina where he has been allowed to treat his calf problem. The 33-year-old is expected back in full training with Shanghai on August 30th.

Tevez has had a tough period since his move to the Chinese Super League, and this led to talk over a potential return to Boca Juniors this summer. However, Angelici appears to have dismissed chances of that happening while tweeting a photograph sitting together with Tevez on a bench, with the message: “I spent the afternoon with Carlitos and his family after several months. We spoke about his present in China and his future. He is not coming back for now but I trust that one day he will wear the Boca Juniors jersey again.”

The former Manchester United and Manchester City star only joined Shenhua in December last year, and his representative Adrian Ruocco has revealed that he cannot exercise a release clause in his contract until he completes the first year of his deal. Argentine Carlos Tevez has turned out not to be the highest paid footballer in the world as widely reported.

No doubt he earns the mouth and eye watering salary but his international teammate Ezekiel Lavezzi trumps him in pay-out.

The striker started from his home country before he moved to England. After his sojourn at West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City, he moved to the Serie A where he continued his illustrious career with Juventus.

He returned home in 2015 but after two and a half seasons at home, he could no longer say no to the huge salary he Chinese were flaunting. He agreed to the move to the Far East and the move was celebrated all over the world as he was set to earn the highest salary offered to a footballer on the planet.

Tevez signed with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua and has been playing. However, the latest report from Football Leaks shows that Lavezzi receives way more than the Argentine.

While Tevez is earning a whopping £634,615 per week, Lavezzi receives £798,000 per week playing for Hebei China Fortune. Read more TEVEZ IS APPARENTLY NOT HIGHEST PAID FOOTBALLER

Carlos Tevez has dismissed claims that he is the world’s best paid player.

The Argentine striker became the latest high profile him to join the Chinese Super League. He decided to leave Boca Juniors, a club which he adores, for Shanghai Shenhua. Chinese clubs have been on an extraordinary spending spree in January and they have recently brought in Oscar for £ 60 million.

For a brief period, the former Chelsea midfielder was one of the highest earning players at around £ 20 million per season. It did not take long for Tevez to overtake the 25-year-old on this front. Tevez defends Messi’s decision

Carlos Tevez has defended Lionel Mess’s decision to retire from International football.

The Boca Juniors player has stated that he understands the way Messi feels and that fans around the world should respect him. Indeed Barcelona’s forward Lionel Messi has announced that he will not be playing for Argentina again following their defeat in the final against Chile. This was the second final lost in a row by Messi with Argentina, and he said that he had had enough.

However, there are many pundits that believe that Messi’s decision has nothing to do with Argentina defeat. They believe that the problem is deeper than what many people believe. For Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi has problems with the Argentina Football Association, and this is the main reason why he has decided to stop playing for the national team.

Carlos Tevez stated that the Argentina Football Federation is currently in a mess and does not do anything in order to help the players. He believes that Lionel Messi has had enough of this situation, and this is why he has taken this decision. For Tevez, all the Argentina players are motivated to play for their team and to represent the country, but the federation is not doing anything to help them.

Paulo Dybala has been earmarked as the replacement for Carlos Tevez at Juventus

Paulo Dybala has been earmarked as the replacement for Carlos Tevez at Juventus, but his former Palermo teammate Franco Vazquez reckons that the 22-year-old may not be the like-for-like swap.
