Carlos Tevez not rejoining Boca Juniors anytime soon

Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has confirmed that Carlos Tevez will not be returning to his hometown club anytime soon.

The Shanghai Shenhua forward is currently back in Argentina where he has been allowed to treat his calf problem. The 33-year-old is expected back in full training with Shanghai on August 30th.

Tevez has had a tough period since his move to the Chinese Super League, and this led to talk over a potential return to Boca Juniors this summer. However, Angelici appears to have dismissed chances of that happening while tweeting a photograph sitting together with Tevez on a bench, with the message: “I spent the afternoon with Carlitos and his family after several months. We spoke about his present in China and his future. He is not coming back for now but I trust that one day he will wear the Boca Juniors jersey again.”

The former Manchester United and Manchester City star only joined Shenhua in December last year, and his representative Adrian Ruocco has revealed that he cannot exercise a release clause in his contract until he completes the first year of his deal. Carlos Tevez gets slammed for walking on the pitch

Former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been slammed for his visible lack of effort during a recent Chinese Super League game for Shanghai Shenhua.

The Argentina international opted to snub advances from ex-club West Ham United in order to bag the riches from the Far East in December last year.

Tevez is currently the highest paid players in world football with a staggering wage package of £634,000-a-week, and such a sum would require a player to at least give his 80 percent for the club. However, the Argentine appeared to remain standstill for a moment as he allowed the play to bypass against fellow league club Tianjin Teda.

The video went viral on social media, and fans on Twitter criticised the 33-year-old after he was doing nothing on the playing field despite being paid lump sums of money, Chris Atter tweeted: “pay me £10k a month and I’d happily put Carlos Tevez out of a job. I’d break my back for that kind of money #lazy.” Read more Carlos Tevez gets slammed for walking on the pitch

Tevez signed with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua and has been playing. However, the latest report from Football Leaks shows that Lavezzi receives way more than the Argentine.

TEVEZ HAS TERRIBLE DEBUT WHILE OSCAR SHINES

Two of the biggest football stars that moved to China Carlos Tevez and Oscar made their debut for their respective clubs.

Shanghai Shenhua’s start with Tevez did not exactly go as they would want as they lost the AFC Champions League to Brisbane Roar. On the other hand, the Brazilian started well with Shanghai SIPG.

Many blamed Coach Gustavo Poyet for the loss of Shenhua to Roar at the AFC Championship.

Many focused on the addition of Argentina international and world record salary earner Tevez, ignoring the match against Roar. Many criticized his move to the country as he was past his prime and others battled if he was worth the salary he is being paid.

The AFC Champions League playoff is an single-legged affair and Shenhua lost it in front of their fans at the Hongkou Stadium. Tevez defends Messi’s decision

Carlos Tevez has defended Lionel Mess’s decision to retire from International football.

The Boca Juniors player has stated that he understands the way Messi feels and that fans around the world should respect him. However, there are many pundits that believe that Messi’s decision has nothing to do with Argentina defeat. They believe that the problem is deeper than what many people believe. For Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi has problems with the Argentina Football Association, and this is the main reason why he has decided to stop playing for the national team.

Carlos Tevez stated that the Argentina Football Federation is currently in a mess and does not do anything in order to help the players. He believes that Lionel Messi has had enough of this situation, and this is why he has taken this decision. For Tevez, all the Argentina players are motivated to play for their team and to represent the country, but the federation is not doing anything to help them.
