WILL TEVEZ PLAY AGAIN?

Manchester City midfield talisman David Silva believes that the return of temperamental striker Carlos Tevez has come at the perfect time with City entering the final phase in the quest for their first ever English Premier League title and having won the title on two consecutive occasions during his spell in the red half of Manchester with Manchester United, has the experience to handle the pressure situations at the end of a title race, which will be extremely helpful for City.

Tevez returns to Manchester City after a highly publicized fallout with the manager Roberto Mancini when he refused to come on as a substitute in a UEFA Champions League match against German giants Bayern Munich, having issued a statement apologizing for his behavior and Silva believes that a player of his quality will hit the ground running and be of a lot of help to the title winning cause of The Citizens.

Roberto Mancini added that Carlos Tevez would be in the running for a first team spot after a week or two, provided he is fit enough to play. Many pundits have already started to talk about City bottling in the business end of the season but Mancini believes that players like Tevez, Yaya Toure, and such others who have won a League title in their career will be of immense help in guiding the other players to glory.

However, this might not turn out to be a happy ending for Tevez and Mancini after all as the Italian manager is sure to look into his comments in the Argentine media about him treating Tevez ‘like a dog’ and might just haul up the striker again. It looks likely that Tevex will play again for City this season, with the bookemakers offering best betting odds of just 7/10).

Many Experts believe that they might just bury the hatchet till the end of the season and go on with the League – finally pushing City out of the shadow cast by their fiercest rivals Manchester United.
