Carlos Tevez rejects a £19.5 million move to the Chinese Super League

Carlos Tevez is a consistent starter for the Argentine club Boca Juniors and he has been performing with them since June of 2015 after having completed his transfer from Juventus over to Boca Juniors for a transfer fee of €6.5 million and so far things have been going fairly well for the veteran attacker who continues scoring goals and playing a big role at a competitive despite having reached a fairly elevated age.

Boca Juniors is the childhood club of Carlos Tevez as it was with them where Tevez managed to make his debut appearance at a competitive stage and he was able to do this at the age of 16.

When Tevez was 16, he made his debut for Boca Juniors when they faced off with Talleres de Cordoba in the Torneo Apertura and from there on out Tevez went on to make a total of 75 appearances while scoring 26 goals during his 3 year long stay with Boca Juniors.

During this time with the Argentine club, Tevez attracted the attention of Corinthians who signed him up for around $16 million and this is when the international playing career of Carlos Tevez kicked off as he went on to join a number of top clubs including: Manchester United, Manchester City and and his last European club was Juventus.

Even though the head coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri offered Tevez the chance to continue performing with the Italian club beyond what his contract had initially stipulated, Tevez opted to make a return to Boca Juniors and now more recently, Tevez was offered the chance to earn £19.5m each year as the Argentine player just wants to play with his hometown club and it’s very likely that he will be retiring with them as well.

Football players are usually being targeted by the media as they are hit with claims that all what the footballers desire is money but Tevez is a clear exception to this as he has rejected performing with the biggest club in Italy and a huge money deal in order to continue playing with the club that helped him kickoff his career during his youth career, Boca Juniors.
