TEVEZ MAKES NEW START

The Manchester city striker Carlos Tevez has said that he has extremely happy with the club and has said that the problems he had with the club and the manager over a year ago has been a blessing in disguise. The Manchester city striker Carlos Tevez came to loggerheads with the manager Roberto Mancini after failing to come on as a substitute in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich last season. It led to the Argentine striker going missing for up to 6 months before eventually returning to the first-team. Many thought that Tevez had indeed played his last game for the club.

However, he has been an influential figure at the start of this new season, as he has scored in every Premier league match for the club as far. In the absence of Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli, Roberto Mancini has been able to rely upon Carlos Tevez and the 28-year-old is more than happy to respond. The Argentine striker now has thanked the problems between him and Mancini, which has led to the fact getting to know each other more than before. He has also said that he is now concentrating only on the club career and not on the international career.

“I am focused on my club and on the Premier League and the Champions League. This is what I wanted – to have this hunger for success back again. The disagreement with Roberto has ended up being good for me because it has helped give me back this hunger. Before, I was playing just to attract the attention of the national team manager. Now I’m playing for the enjoyment and because I have that desire to win things,” said Carlos Tevez during the recent international break. Manchester city have made a good start to the season with two wins and one draw.
